Privacy Policy

TailClaim is an offline app for tracking pet care and pet-insurance claims. This policy describes, in full, how it handles data — there is no longer version, because there is no more to say.
Summary
TailClaim collects nothing. It has no account system, no server, and no network connection of any kind. Everything you enter — pet profiles, vet visit records, photos, insurance claims, and settings — is stored only in this app's local storage on your device.
What TailClaim Does Not Do
- It does not create a user account or require sign-in.
- It does not send any data to us, to the app developer, or to any third party. The app makes no network requests of any kind — this isn't a configuration choice, it's a property of how the app is built: it has no networking code and requests no network permission on Android.
- It does not use analytics, crash-reporting services, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking libraries.
- It does not read or use any device identifier, advertising identifier, or account identifier.
- It does not sell, rent, or share your data, because it never has access to your data in the first place.
What TailClaim Stores, and Where
All of the following stays in the app's private local storage on your device, and is only ever included in your device's own OS backup (iCloud or Google account backup) if you have that enabled at the operating-system level — the same as any other app's data:

When Data Leaves Your Device
Only when you take an explicit action to send it somewhere, and only to the destination you choose:
- Exporting or sharing a backup file
- Exporting, printing, or sharing an appeal packet or sitter handoff sheet
In each case, the app hands the file to your device's own share sheet or print dialog. You decide where it goes; TailClaim has no part in that transfer and receives no confirmation of what happened to it afterward.
Permissions
TailClaim requests only the device permissions it needs to work, and no others:

None of these permissions give the app, or us, access to anything beyond what you explicitly choose to photograph or attach.
Deleting Your Data
"Delete all my data," in the app's Settings, permanently erases everything listed above from your device immediately, with no account to close and nobody to contact — there is no other copy anywhere to separately delete. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
Children's Privacy
TailClaim does not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect data at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this app ever changes in a way that would make any statement above no longer true, this policy will be updated first, at this same URL, before that change ships.
